I don’t really have the heart…

…or the patience to craft a real entry.

Yes, I finally finalized my Denver trip–July 28-30.  Rox aren’t in town but it’s the only time I can go.

Unfortunately, after winning three series, the Astros have dropped four in a row.

But my biggest worry is about Tulo.

Troy Trevor, could you possibly be a bigger idiot? You have to
have surgery because you got frustrated
and smashed a bat. How stupid
and childish. I’m extremely disappointed in you. Get it together and
act like a big boy. I always appreciate it when ballplayers show
emotion but come on. I feel like it’s an April Fools’ joke
because it’s on Yahoo! and Rocky Mountain News, but the Rox haven’t
even had a press release yet.

God.  I can’t believe it.  Just when the Rox were clicking on all cylinders and the Astros were winning series, everything falls apart.

Epic, epic frustration.

Just a quickie…

…because my Denver trip got shot down.

If it happens, it won’t be happening until after baseball season, which would be stupid because it would be, like, snowing.

So, never mind.

We took another series…

…nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah-nyah!

Yes, those would be five-year-old playground noises.

I’m so proud of my boys–especially Wandy.  Do you know how much I love Wandy?  I ADORE WANDY.

I’m in the midst of planning a trip to Denver.
Hopefully for next weekend.  To go see the Rockies and visit Colorado School of Mines, but I’m most excited about the Rockies.
The only problem is that it’s Matty Bobblehead Day, so I might have to buy my tickets like, online or something.  tulo is a sexy beast.jpg
That would suck.  My $4 ticket could easily turn into, like, a $12 one.  But that’s totally okay because OHMIGOD THE ROCKIES.

Can you even fathom how exciting that would be?  I might even go to TWO Rockies games!  Of course, it would be better if I could leave Thursday and come back Sunday but we’re having a 4th of July party so that wouldn’t work.  I hate day games (Sunday), but it’s better to go to a day game than no game at all.  And Denver has a zoo.

Amy–is there a light rail stop at the Zoo?  I figured you might be able to help me out in this aspect.
